Prior to Kiroku, my main concern when note taking was working with different dental nurses.
For the initial years of my career, I had always worked in corporate dental practices, where we had many different dental nurses.
Each dental nurse has a different way of working and note taking so, prior to using Kiroku, I was having to check my notes repeatedly making sure they were complete. This wasted a significant amount of time.
Kiroku allows you to take notes using drop-down lists and buttons, which has helped me to minimise any time spent taking and checking notes.

We follow templates in a sequential order, without jumping around, so that we don’t miss anything out.
I have always been interested in computers and artificial intelligence, so Kiroku really stood out to me. Initially, I started working with Kiroku for a few months – I loved the way that they were building the platform.
It was not just a rigid structure that you needed to follow, they based it around the needs of the user. This means that everything you want can be implemented, and the platform can be customised to your liking.
From where Kiroku started, to where it is now, there’s a big difference. At first, you had to provide a word document for the team to create a template from, so set-up took a little while.
But over time, it has improved dramatically, and you are now able to make changes instantly. I really like that I can make quick changes myself and move things around to suit my workflow. It’s very user-friendly.
The main benefits of Kiroku are that new members of the dental team are able to adapt easily, and it saves me time. I also like the fact that, if I am running late, or I have to step away from my note taking, I can save my place online, and go back to check and finish them later.
I would definitely recommend Kiroku to colleagues. It’s a game changer in terms of time saving. The UK is the most regulated country when it comes to note taking, and Kiroku helps me to take complete and accurate notes, so that I’m not missing anything out.
Kiroku’s customer service is also great. Any time I have a problem, I raise it and it’s resolved within 24 hours.
